Arlo Credits
Arlo Credits are the credit system used to pay for Arlo Hosting services.
Your credit balance is used to cover the cost of your hosting when your service renews.
How credits work
Arlo Credits have a simple value:
1 Arlo Credit = £0.01
For example:
| Credits | Value |
|---|---|
| 100 | £1.00 |
| 250 | £2.50 |
| 500 | £5.00 |
| 1,000 | £10.00 |
Your hosting plan determines how many credits are required for each renewal.
Using credits
When your hosting service reaches its renewal date, Arlo checks your credit balance.
If you have enough credits to cover the renewal, the required amount is deducted and your service remains active.
If you do not have enough credits, your service will be automatically suspended.
WARNING
Make sure you have enough Arlo Credits before your renewal date to avoid your service being suspended.
Getting more credits
Credits can be added to your account through the available Arlo payment methods.
INFO
The Arlo payment system may change as new payment options are introduced. The available payment methods shown when purchasing credits are always the most up-to-date.
Checking your balance
You can view your current Arlo Credit balance from your Arlo dashboard.
Your balance should be checked regularly, especially if you have multiple hosting services.
Suspended services
If your credit balance is insufficient when a renewal is due, your service will be suspended.
Your service and its data are retailed while suspended. Once your account has enough credits to cover the required reneal, the service can be restored automatically.
TIP
Adding enough credits before your renewal date is the easiest way to avoid an interruption to your service.
